Additional Ingredients Required
Whole fish/fish fillet (500g) as per your choice.
1 tbsp lemon juice. The entire packet of Bayo Fish Curry Masala Mix 50g.
1 cup/150g rice flour or semolina (Rava).
1/2 cup/75ml water. Salt as per taste, oil frying.
How To Cook
1) Clean fish and wash thoroughly with water (in case of whole fish make slits). Drain water completely and keep it aside.
2) Make a smooth marination paste of Bayo Fish Curry Masala with lemon juice and water. Add a little more water if required.
3)Coat the masala on all sides of fish fillets/all over whole fish and marinate for 30 to 60 minutes.
4) Take 1 cup of rice flour/rava, add salt as per taste and mix well. Coat marinated fish fillets/whole fish with flour properly on both sides. Follow the same procedure for the rest of the fish fillets/ whole fish.
5) Heat oil in a frying pan and shallow fry the fish fillets/whole fish for 5 minutes on medium-low flame. Flip the other side and shallow fry for 5 minutes or till reddish brown. Serve hot with sliced onion and lemon.
